Sessions at Tea Tree Bay
Surfing Tea Tree Bay
Tea Tree Bay is a sheltered cove inside Noosa National Park with a long, mellow right-hand point wave. Its rides can run a long way down the bay, and the setting — clear water, pandanus and the national park behind — makes it one of the most scenic spots to be photographed surfing in Australia.
Like the rest of the Noosa points it needs a decent east to south-east swell to wrap in, and it is a favourite with longboarders when it does.
