Upload Requirements
No minimum quality bar and no cap on how many sessions you publish. Here are the technical limits.
- Videos
- MP4 or MOV, up to 2 GB per clip
- Any resolution, 4K welcome. Heavy files are optimised so buyers download them fast, and your original is kept
- iPhone HEVC and HDR footage is converted for browser playback automatically
- Photos
- JPG, PNG, WEBP or GIF, up to 50 MB per photo
- Full resolution is kept for buyers, previews are watermarked
- Date, time and camera details are read from EXIF
- Sessions
- Up to 500 files per session, photos and videos mixed
- Unlimited sessions, publish as often as you shoot
- One location and date per session, sequences group burst shots
- Pricing
- You set the price per photo, video and sequence
- Defaults of $10 per photo, $25 per video and $15 per sequence to start
- Paid out through Stripe Connect after each purchase

Stripe processing fees (1.75% + A$0.30 per domestic card transaction; international cards cost more) are standard across all payment platforms. During the promo they are deducted from each sale; afterwards they are covered by the 10% commission.

Your Content Is Protected
Every photo and video gets a diagonal repeating watermark, the same industry-standard approach used by Shutterstock and Getty. Surfers browse watermarked previews, and full-resolution originals are stored securely and only released after confirmed purchase.
No extra steps on your end. Upload your session and the watermarking happens automatically.
All uploads are automatically screened by our content moderation system to keep the platform safe and focused on surf photography. Inappropriate content is detected and removed before it goes live.
