Surfing First Bay
First Bay sits on the northern side of Point Perry at Coolum. The headland shelters it from southerly winds, so it often has clean, smaller waves when the main beach is messy, and it is a popular spot for longboarders and newer surfers.
On a bigger south-east swell a right-hander wraps off the point into the bay.
